2003-10-07 - 8:24 a.m. So anyways, I kinda left everyone hanging. Sorry. After day one in the hospital all the fun things started to happen. Like I watched "Psycho" (The Original). Then they hooked me up with a sandwich. I stayed up all night long, until they took me for tests. I got in the wheelchair and had the nice man give me a ride to the baby section of the hospital. Yes. The baby hospital. There they took an ultra sound of my heart (to make sure that there wasn't any little baby hearts in there, I guess). During the ultra sound I looked over and actually saw my heart beating (I think it's a boy). Then they rolled me up to my room where I watched Dawson's Creek til I passed out. I woke up to some good food on the tray. I ate that up like there was no tomorrow (this hospital had good food!). So I sat there watching daytime television, with them coming in to help my old man roomate pee or poke me and take the plasma. They made me stay up all night and not eat that night (for tests). So I did and it was hell. Around 8:00am I had "breakfast" (a single piece of toast). Later (around noon) They took me to a room, started marking on my head with pen, put hair gel on a Q tip and tried to jam it through my scalp, and put wires to my head. I then sat in a dark room with my eyes closed until he turned a strobe light on. I then was rolled to my room, where I was allowed to sleep. I crashed for 15 minutes and they had me go run on a treadmill with wires on my chest (like the $6 million man). I then rolled back to my room, crashed and then watched Dawson's Creek. They decided to keep me overnight to monitor me. My mom took the 3 hour trip to see me and ended up taking mr home. I spent a week there, and I'm back now. That's all.
